TEMPURA BEER BATTER
16 oz Field and Forge Pilsner
2 Cups Tempura Mix
1 Tbsp Salt
- In a large bowl, whisk together tempura mix and salt.
- Add your cold pilsner and whisk just until combined.
- Let your batter sit for a few minutes to thicken up before using. It should be the texture of runny pancake batter. The excess batter should run off and be just thick enough to coat whatever you intend to fry.
*We use this batter for fish and chips. However, it is very versatile and will work well for a variety of fried foods.
